Westernaire Saddles are fully flexible and pain-free for your horse because:

1. They are constructed using patented technology called Flex Core that provides authentic, durable, show- legal western saddles;

2. The internal components of the saddles are made with a proprietary formula of polyurethane elastomeric material which provides the flexible foundation for our fully leather-encased saddles;

3. Each internal component is formulated for the exact amount of firmness and flexibility required to produce totally authentic saddles allowing rider and horse to perform at maximum potential.

4. Before encasing the internal components in high quality, durable leather, they are cross-layered top and bottom with shock absorbing materials. These materials provide memory, heat dispersion and impact absorption for the comfort of horse and rider.

5. Absorbing trauma is new to saddlery. Traditional saddles utilizing various forms of rigid frames (trees) which transmit rider and saddle impact directly to the horse’s back and shoulders. Northwestern saddles have absolutely no rigid framework so while providing full rider contact, they prevent any trauma to the horse's back.

6. These same trauma layers protect the rider’s back as well. The rider is not “concussing” or bouncing against a rigid tree. The entire saddle flexes with the movement of the horse. The rider doesn’t have the discomfort of sitting on and bouncing against a rigid wood, metal or fiberglass structure.
