Spring Alert!
Spring trail riding and show season are just around the corner! Plan ahead and have your new Ansur saddle in time for competition or hitting the trails. Most saddles can be completed now in 8 weeks!! As your hard working horse muscles up, his shape is changing daily. Treed saddles cannot grow with your horse, but ours will. The Ansur fits perfectly and pain free every day. We’re ready… are you?
Remember what one of our recent championship riders said after her first blue ribbon ride in an Ansur saddle-
“I almost feel it is unfair
when my competition isn’t
riding in an Ansur!”

TREELESS FLEX CORE SADDLES – PAIN FREE FOR THE HORSE AND RIDER – TOTALLY FLEXIBLE...from $3067!
For more than 15 years we have specialized in making authentic, Treeless Flex Core English saddles that are performance enhancing and pain-free for horse and rider. Our treeless saddles have been very popular and many thousands of treeless saddles have been sold. In response to an increasing world-wide interest from western riders, we have created Ansur Saddlery Northwest, LLC to develop a totally treeless Flex Core, traditional western saddle.
We are a small company with a big mission: To provide a totally authentic, high quality, treeless saddle for all horses…one that is fully flexible and bends with every movement of the animal.
We believe all riders have a duty to provide maximum comfort and kindness to their horses especially when the animal is under saddle. For too long, horses have had to compromise their movement in an effort to protect themselves from the applied pressure of a rigid saddle (tree) being pushed onto their back by the rider.
The equine back is constantly moving and bending. A saddle with a rigid internal component (AKA saddle tree) cannot bend or flex with the movement of the horse. How can we “fit” a rigid object to a non-rigid, moving and flexing equine back? The rigid structure can only rock, either side to side or up and down….it cannot bend in any direction.
Covering a rigid internal structure with an assortment of padding cannot make the structure bend! Nor, can pads make it so the horse cannot feel the frame that you, the rider, are sitting on.
The question becomes: Does it make sense to put a rigid frame on the equine back?
We are here to provide information about another alternative … one that relieves your horse from damage and discomfort resulting from having a rider push the wood rack down onto the animal’s moving back...our treeless Flex core!

Just because we've had a rigid tree for 100's of years doesn't make it right! We've been going down the wrong path.....think of your horse turning after being fitted with a solid tree....how can what fits him standing still fit him when he's making a turn???? Your horse is going to move but this hard frame isn't going to move with his body.
